All the students who have satisfied the requirements for award of the degree of Bachelor of Technology are given original certificates during the convocation held by Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University. This is conducted at a suitable place in the city of Hyderabad and all the students of affiliated engineering colleges who have completed the course are invited to take part in the convocation function. The students are to submit an application for attending the convocation and also pay necessary fees.

In the Convocation all toppers of various branches of engineering and technology are given Gold Medals instituted by the University and other organizations. A Chief Guest of very high calibre gives the convocation address which will be very enlightening to all the participants of the convocation and particularly fresh engineering graduates. The Governor of Andhra Pradesh who is the Chancellor of the University will preside over the function and administers the oath from all graduates who are to receive the degrees.

A Mini Convocation is usually held by respective affiliated engineering colleges for handing over the original certificates sent by the University. This has to be conducted after the Main Convocation of the University. Sreenidhi also wishes to conduct this mini convocation every year.
