It is necessary that the fresh engineering graduates are not only competent in their knowledge of technical subjects but also must have the soft skills. They must be capable of communicating with others at times with foreigners, who have different cultural backgrounds and native languages. They must be excellent in written as well as oral communication skills. The students also must have the ability to go into the details and the temperament to work in a group. They must be imbibed with the qualities of team building and leadership.

With the above qualities to be acquired by the students Sreenidhi is organizing a number of extra curricular and co-curricular activities. A unique scheme of students council nominated by the institute based on merit is in operation. The topper of the college will be the President of the students' council, the second ranker will be the Vice President, both belonging to the final year class. Secretary and Joint Secretary are nominated from the pre-final class. Members of the council, one from teach sections are nominated on the basis of merit. This council is responsible for effective interaction with the college management and also the conduct of the college day celebrations.

The class review committees and technical associations are also run by students based on certain criteria which promoter effectiveness in their functioning IEEE, ISTE, NSS/NCC, sports and cultural activities are conducted by Sreenidhi which are improving the capabilities of students in various skills.
